We're pleased to be joining the "Cooler in the Mountains Free Summer Concert Series" at Killington Resort on August 20. Come visit the Eco-Village and check out all the other great activities!
This summer, it really is cooler in the mountains in Killington as the Town hosts its second annual Cooler in the Mountains Free Summer Concert Series, presented by Long Trail Brewing Company.
Performances are scheduled for every Saturday afternoon at the K1 Base Lodge at Killington Resort, July 23 through August 27, and will support the greening efforts of Reverb, a non-profit organization which educates and engages musicians and their fans to take action toward a more sustainable future. All of the Cooler in the Mountains Concerts are free and open to all ages. A beer garden, outdoor grill and outdoor lawn game will accompany the live music and scenic mountain views. Concert-goers will also be invited to register to win a 2011-12 Killington Season Pass (no purchase necessary), which will be given away at the conclusion of the concert series. Special lodging packages are being offered in conjunction with the concerts.
The free series kicked off Saturday, July 23rd alongside the Killington Wine Festival. This special outdoor concert will feature Sean Kelly of the Samples, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and enjoy the festival atmosphere of Killington in the heart of the Green Mountains.
