Half rock tour, half environmental and social consciousness campaign, CCT aims to inspire and activate students in an electric atmosphere while leaving a positive impact on each community the tour visits. In addition to educating and mobilizing students, the tour includes many greening elements and is run to have a minimal environmental footprint.
CCT is a project of the environmental non-profit REVERB. Deeply rooted within the music and environmental communities, Reverb educates and engages musicians and their fans to take action toward a more sustainable future.
REVERB has worked on over 100 major tours to date and created Campus Consciousness Tour specifically to engage students right where they live--on campus.
REVERB is partnering with the band fun. this semester to bring students a greener tour and an exciting platform to take social action. This fall, we're asking you to learn about and stand up for LGBTQ equality. We will be partnering with campus LGBTQ groups, national organizations, and fun.'s new non-profit group, The Ally Coalition.
More details to come ... stay tuned!
What will CCT bring to campus?
In addition to fun.'s incredible show, the 2012 Fall Campus Consciousness Tour will be setting up a Consciousness Village at each concert including free ice cream from Ben and Jerry's, a photo booth, and local, campus and national non-profit groups to talk to you about the importance of supporting LGBTQ equality. We will also be supporting each participating campus group with a donation.
