Reverb, The Waterwheel Foundation and the Phish Green Crew are excited to be working together this fall at Festival 8 to continue the greening efforts started on Phish's Summer Tour. Please check out the 8 Thousand Hours of Service Program and, sign up to carpool to the show. When arriving at the festival be sure to remember that you can help us green up the event by doing the following:
Take part in the Festival 8 Water Program:
- Free drinking fountains - 3 locations throughout the venue, please see map
- Bring your own container - it must be completely empty to enter the festival (from the main entrance or any camping areas). No glass, metal and no Camelbaks. You can fill up at the free drinking fountains or purchase cold filtered water for $1 per filling. 32oz maximum container allowed in.
- Containers must be factory sealed or completely empty
- Purchase a $10, 24oz water container and receive free cold filtered water all weekend.
Recycle & Compost:
- Utilize the many recycling and compost bins that will be set up on the festival site.
- Everyone who camps onsite will be given a trash bag and recycling bag upon arrival.
- Please use them and keep your camping area clean.
WaterWheel Village
Be sure to check out the WaterWheel village where you can show your support for WaterWheel and the 8,000 Hours of Service project as well as a host of other non-profit groups like Rock the Earth and Sweet Relief, and Headcount. Particip8 and earn all kinds of incredible thank-you prizes. Look for the GIANT WaterWheel logo in the concert field!
