About the Show Me Campaign
Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer–songwriter
John Legend wrote the song “Show Me” as a prayer
about the state of the world and the individual’s place
in it. John founded the Show Me Campaign in 2007
after visiting Millennium Villages in Bonsaaso, Ghana
and Mbola, Tanzania and resolving himself to fighting poverty. Show Me has gone from a song to a call to action to join the movement to end global poverty.
At the Show Me Campaign, we envision a world in which all people have the opportunity to flourish free of the devastating effects of poverty.

Climate Counts is a non-profit campaign that scores companies annually on the basis of their voluntary action to reverse climate change. The Climate Counts Company Scorecard - launched in June 2007 - helps people vote with their dollars by making climate-conscious purchasing and investing choices that put pressure on the world's most well-known companies to take the issue of climate change seriously. Launched by organics pioneer Stonyfield Farm, Climate Counts believes everyday consumers can be the most important activists in the fight against global warming.
