About Green Crew

Green Crew is Phish's Official Greening and Recycling effort. The original concept started in 1994 as an outreach of the Phish organization, To keep the venue parking lots clean, and to make a general effort towards recycling.

GCrew is a group of volunteers who help with a coordinated recycling and general clean up effort at all the Phish shows across the country.Pre-show the green crew hands out recycling bags to phans and vendors as they arrive then at the end of the concerts each night, the GCrew will pick up all recyclables that are left. They also are an important outreach arm of the band, helping spread general messages to concert goers when necessary. The GCrew coordinate with the fine folks at reverb.org touring division,in setting up local recycling companies to drop off receptacles and then haul em away.
