Reducing the impact of RCPM touring

Touring, by its nature, can be tough on the environment. For many years, we have worked to reduce our impace, and with a Green Grant from Reverb in 2012, we have taken our efforts event farther. Here's what we do on the road:

BioDiesel in the bus
Check out the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance to find out more about alternative fuels.

Recycling
Everything and anything we can, including cans and bottles, merchandise packaging, cardboard boxes. We're also working to recycle as a community with our fans via the Green Guest List. And look for fan can recycling at Circus Mexicus!

Eating local and organic foods
We love Eat Well Guide and LocalHarvest.org as resources.

Solar power panels on the bus
Panels installed in the Spring of 2012 by Green Fuel Technologies run interior power systems and help offset emissions.

Carbon Offsets for our travel
We calculate our energy use: fuel for the bus, flights, hotels and venue energy use, and then offset it to support clean energy via Native Energy.

Inviting non-profit groups to share space at merch
Stop by on your way into the show to learn about a cause Roger is passionate about.

Buy & sell organic cotton merchandise when possible
Ask at merch for details!

Buys & sell local made or American made merchandise when possible

4 CD titles in 100% recycled content packaging
Purchasing recycled paper increases demand, supporting incentives to recycle and keep materials out of the waste stream.
