Hoping to meet some new faces aboard this year's Ships & Dip cruise? Have an interest in the environment or just want to meet some of the folks (maybe even band members!) responsible for "greening" Ships & Dip. Well, this is the event for you!
Reverb and Sixthman are proud to invite you to the first ever Greendrinks event held on open waters! Greendrinks is an international phenomenon; an extremely informal social networking "happy hour" for environmentally conscious folks like YOU! To top it off Reverb representative and Portland, Maine Greendrinks organizer will be on hand to tell you a little bit about the Greendrinks nearest you and Reverb's work in the music industry.
Since 1989, Greendrinks has facilitated informal, beer-laden networking in over 330 cities worldwide; from Boston to Bangalore. The goal of Greendrinks is pretty simple: good times and good drinks shared among people working in, or interested in, environmental and sustainability issues.

CLIMATE COUNTS TOWN HALL FORUM

Climate Counts is non-profit organization with a mission to put the power to curb climate change into the hands of the consumer. Every year a team of diligent researchers dive through sustainability reports, letters to investors and pages of publically recorded corporte materials in order to make it easy and clear to consumers which corportions are "striving" and which are "stalled" in their effort to face climate change. Armed with this info consumers can choose to "vote with their dollars" and make educated purchasing choices, faciliting change from a grassroots level.
